Welcome Adventurer to Immortal Realms! We are highly customized, so this guide is to help new players make sense of there first steps here.
A few things everyone should know when they start, all skills can go up to 120 without power scrolls or 150 with them, you can also purchase a skill ball that takes them to 180. Stats can be trained up to 300 each for a total of 900 and each can be raised to 1000 with items.
You'll notice you start with a skill stone and a stat ball in your pack, use these to get a head start on your training, then spend some time in the training area whacking elementals or training your magic related skills, you start with a robe that lowers your reagent cost to 0 so cast away!
While your training familiarize yourself with your master looter backpack, if you left click this pack and click on options you can tailor the items it loots and whether you want it to delete all corpses or just empty ones, I recommend deleting all corpses and removing everything but Base Container from the list.
Why Base Container? We have a custom loot system, every monster you kill has a chance of dropping a relic bag which hold various items, from level tokens to armor and weapons.
Which brings us to our level system, pretty much everything you do in game earns exp, killing mobs, crafting items, using skills, this in turn levels you up and gives you skill and stat points to spend by using [level.
It also means you can wear better equipment, currently our max level is 500 and 500 is required for the best gear.
Now, you've trained some skills and gained some stats! On the table in the starting building are various items including a letter to lothar, and a travel book, I recommend you take the letter to the new player dungeon, accessible via the travel book, and complete the quest chain there for a fairly decent starting set.
So you have a basic set of gear, some skills and stats? Time to start your adventure! Your next best aim will be to complete the spellweaving quest and obtain a spellweaving book, this will help you clear early game champs and get yourself some relic bags for that first boost of gear. More of a crafter? No worries, we have many custom crafting systems, the newb crafting system for example is one of the most efficient ways of gearing a new character in the early game. Simply hunt down and kill the Crafter Elemental, found in (big hint here) a osi dungeon containing elementals! Kill it to get the hammer and craft away!
There are some extremely strong mobs and customs, with equipment and craft systems to match, not to mention a plethora of custom pets. The mastery system is a massive help in the mid - late game here aswell.
Hopefully this will give you a small idea of how to start your adventures! We have many friendly staff and players always willing to answer questions! See you on the ground!
